Business worry does not keep office hours. You close the shop, count the money, look at the numbers, and then lie awake with them at one in the morning. Most owners carry this alone. You cannot tell the staff how thin it is, and you do not want to put the figure in front of your husband or your wife when they cannot change it. Before you put your name to any agreement that comes out of it, pray these prayer points before signing a contract.
God is not distant from your business. Deuteronomy 8:18 says it is He who gives you the ability to produce wealth. Your business is not outside His interest. It is one of the places He has put you.
These 40 effective midnight prayer points for your business come with Bible verses attached, so you are standing on the Word and not on your own confidence. Pray them over your breakthrough, your customers, your cash flow, your staff, and your own strength as the one carrying it.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a good midnight prayer for business breakthrough?
Ask for one specific thing rather than general prosperity. “Father, the contract with the council has been sitting on a desk since June. Move it, and let it be signed this month.” Then name the date you are asking for. Praying with a deadline is not presumption, it is clarity, and it gives you something you can recognize as answered.
What is a powerful prayer for a successful business?
Psalm 90:17 in your own words is hard to beat: “Lord, establish the work of my hands. Let what I build stand after I have stopped building it.” Pair it with a prayer for character, because a business that grows faster than its owner tends to fall over. Ask for growth and integrity in the same breath.
What is a good prayer to cleanse my business?
Walk the premises out loud if you can, praying over the door, the register, the office, the storeroom. “I cover this place with the blood of Jesus. Whatever agreement was made here before me is broken.” Prayer points 33 to 37 above were written for that walk. Do it after closing, when nobody is around and you are not rushing.
Does the Bible say anything about praying for your work?
A great deal. Deuteronomy 8:18 credits God with the ability to create wealth in the first place, and Proverbs 22:29 says a person skilled in their work will stand before kings. Our collection of Bible verses about work gathers the main passages in one place.
Should I pray at midnight if I have to be up at six?
No. Sleep is part of the answer, not an obstacle to it. Midnight prayer suits people who are already awake and worrying. If you sleep well, pray at the start of the working day instead and keep your rest. Exhaustion has never made anybody more spiritual.
If the problem is that everything has stalled rather than that money is tight, midnight prayer points against delay deal with that directly. For the workplace, try warfare prayers for breakthrough at work, and decree and declare prayers for finances when you want to pray over the numbers.
