You’ve prayed the polite prayers. You’ve asked God to be with the doctors. But somewhere around 2 AM, staring at a ceiling or a monitor, you find yourself asking a rawer question: does Jesus still heal? These 50 supernatural Jesus healing scriptures answer with the only evidence that matters, His own words and His own track record.
Read the Gospels and one thing becomes impossible to miss. Jesus never met a sickness He respected. He touched lepers nobody would touch, stopped funerals, and healed on the wrong day of the week just to make a point. That same Jesus is alive right now.
So don’t read this list like a textbook. Read it like evidence. Then pray it like it’s yours. When you’re ready for more, our healing scriptures collection and prayers for healing continue the journey.

FAQ: Jesus Healing Scriptures
What are some examples of Jesus’ healing in scripture?
The Gospels record dozens: the leper (Matthew 8), the centurion’s servant (Matthew 8), the paralyzed man lowered through the roof (Luke 5), the woman with the issue of blood (Mark 5), blind Bartimaeus (Mark 10), Lazarus raised (John 11), and summary verses like Matthew 9:35 saying He healed every sickness among the people.
How to get healing power from Jesus?
You don’t earn it, you receive it. Come to Him honestly (Matthew 11:28), ask plainly (Matthew 7:7), believe His willingness (Matthew 8:3), and invite praying believers to lay hands and agree with you (James 5:14-15). Keep taking your medicine and seeing your doctor too. God heals through both prayer and practitioners.
What are the promises of Jesus for healing?
He promised rest for the weary (Matthew 11:28), answered prayer in His name (John 14:13), recovery where believing hands are laid on the sick (Mark 16:18), and abundant life (John 10:10). And Hebrews 13:8 seals them all: He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
How to pray the scriptures for healing?
Pick one verse, read it out loud, then turn it into a first-person prayer. Isaiah 53:5 becomes: Father, by the stripes of Jesus I am healed, and I receive it now. One verse prayed daily beats fifty skimmed once. If you need words this minute, start with our urgent prayer for healing.
Jesus healing scriptures are not nostalgia. They are the living words of a living Savior who still stops for one sick person at a time, and today that person is you. Take His word into the appointment, into the night, into the mirror. He is still willing. He said so Himself. For more bold praying, our miracle healing prayer for the sick keeps you company.
